 Nine Out Of 10 E-Mails In Netherlands Unsolicited
 

THE HAGUE, 03/03/07 - In February, 91 percent of e-mails received in the Netherlands were unsolicited, Dutch mail protector Cleanport reported.

Never has so much spam been sent in a single month. In the last weekend of February, as much as 96 percent of all e-mails were unsolicited. The number of e-emails containing a virus is around 1 percent.

Foreign spam distributors hack into Dutch users' computers, which they use to distribute advertisements.
