AMSTERDAM, 06/02/03 - Three-quarters of a year after his death, Pim Fortuyn is still a popular theme for Dutch publishers. This year, countless books will appear on Fortuyn and that which he unleashed in Dutch politics. A book by lawyer duo Spong and Hammerstein will be published this month. They sued politicians and journalists for incitement to hatred against Fortuyn, shortly after he was murdered on 6 May. The judicial authorities decided not to take up the case, but the lawyers say they are taking sweet revenge by exposing "revealing facts. " In 'The Pimmels; the apostles of Pim Fortuyn' is to be published in spring. In it, writer Marcel van Roosmalen describes the followers of Fortuyn within the Pim Fortuyn List (LPF) party. De Telegraaf newspaper columnist Bob Smalhout's book 'The legacy of Pim' will come out in April. Finally, enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the book 'In the name of the father,' which describes the rise and fall of Fortuynism. |
